(111gr) These "baby eels" are made with surimi, a fish paste (usually pollack) formed to create the shape of a baby eel. Although these aren’t real angulas, you get the best of both worlds - they are delicious but without the cost of real baby eels. They are prepared in olive oil, garlic, and red pepper flakes.
INGREDIENTS: Olive oil, surimi baby eel imitation (Alaska pollock meat (Theragra calcogramma), water, potato starch, chicken protein), flavor enhancer (E-621), stabilizer (E-407, E-410, E-415), salt, sunflower oil, cephalopod ink, and baby eel flavors, garlic (0.9%) and chili.
